We are currently seeking a self motivated experienced Commerical Manager for our team at Beacon Building Products.

In this role, you will work to grow and maintain business with assigned large volume commercial accounts, while managing a team of sales representatives specializing in Commercial products.

 

Job Duties

 

  • Leads a team of Inside Sales Consultants and Commercial Account Managers
  • Works to establish new business opportunities with potential customers
  • Works to establish add-on business with existing customers
  • Achieves monthly and yearly Department quota requirements
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge base of entire product line
  • Determines the nature of profitable vs. non-profitable business through precise decision making and trend analysis
  • Develops plans for increased Department profitablility
  • Communicates regularly with vendors to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Identifies and negotiates with appropriate vendors to ensure that we have purchasing strength on quoted projects
  • Develops and maintains sales plans and forcasts to achieve region objectives in alignment with company guidelines
  • Partners with the Corporate Sales & Marketing team to implement/execute marketing programs
  • Responsible for training the Inside and Outside Sales force on the commercial product line
  • Attends industry and product related training programs, conferences, seminars and educational forums
  • Works to build long term relationships with customer base
  • Performs performance appraisals for all direct reports
  • Works to improve the skills of existing employees
  • Responsible for maintaining a high quality staff of the very best available people
  • Performs other duties as assigned
