<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Primary Function

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manages and oversees daily operations of Branch. Secondary function is to provide Regional or District Manager any requested branch specific information to be reported back to corporate.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Key Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Oversees aspects of profit center (operations, admin, etc.)
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for hiring, supervising and training inside sales team
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Dotted line responsibility for outside sales force
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Determines the nature of profitable versus non-profitable business through precise decision making and
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">trend analysis
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works closely with Branch Credit Manager to determine adequate account base
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Deals directly with corporate office on matters that concern day to day branch functions
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develops plans for increased branch profitability
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Markets Allied to internal and external customer base through advertising dollars and manufacturer
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">information/incentives
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provides training to all staff
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Grooms future managers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Oversees all branch personnel to assure that they are reaching their full potential.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for building and maintaining morale in the branch
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demonstrates leadership qualities and sets an example for staff
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Acts as support line for all departments
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Promotes teamwork both within local team and region
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicates regularly with vendors to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Responsible for maintaining a high quality staff of the very best available people
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Continues to work to improve the skills of existing employees
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Acts as a safety leader and is responsible for monthly safety committee meetings.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Insures that all company policies and procedures are followed
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Promptly communicates all vital branch specific information to Regional Managers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Completes all tasks on the Branch Manager's monthly checklist
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintains ample levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all Beacon customers
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maintains a working knowledge of Beacon benefits and policies
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Completes all WC/Accident reporting
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Understands and utilizes all needed systems and technology 
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Performs performance appraisals for all direct reports
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Performs other duties as assigned
