Your Opportunity

As a Beacon Branch Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Branch by creating plans for sales success and maintaining a positive workplace. You will ensure employees are following policies and aid them in goal setting. You will maintain relationships with customers and vendors while looking for new growth opportunities and finding solutions to issues.

Key Responsibilities

Oversees aspects of profit center (operations, admin, etc.)

Responsible for hiring, supervising and training inside sales team

Communicates regularly with vendors to establish and maintain strong relationships

Acts as a safety leader and is responsible for monthly safety committee meetings

Handles disciplinary actions and ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed

Promptly communicates all vital branch specific information to Regional Managers

Maintains inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all Beacon customers

Professional Skills

Knowledge of building materials business

Able to build and maintain relationships with people, customers, vendors, and employees

Effective negotiator

Time management skills · Ability to prioritize many tasks · Ability to delegate tasks 

Experience

Experience in the building products industry

Managerial/supervisory experience

Must have a valid driver license
