I.     Primary Function
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will help uncover opportunities for the sales team and assist in closing more work. As a Sales Support Specialist you will locate, investigate and qualify sales opportunities for Exterior and/or Interior product lines using on-line and off-line resources. These sales opportunities are entered into an electronic Customer Relationship Management tool, or CRM, in order to track, distribute and follow up on qualified leads. Distribution of qualified leads to the Outside Sales Team is a critical part of this position, in addition to providing feedback and award information on sales opportunities post bid.
II.    Key Responsibilities
Determine and become familiar with coverage area and product lines specific to your market.
Initiate and establish relationships with the General Contractors to solicit information on the status of each project and who is being used as sub contractors on the job site.
Manage the data coming in from the various data sources and distribute qualified sales leads to your team in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Champion the CRM and assist with keeping the data clean. Update on a regular basis.
Help manage leads to/from Oldcastle Building Solutions (OBS).
Develop metrics to show effectiveness of the regional Sales Support program.
Performs other duties as assigned

IV.   Experience
3+ years of experience in Construction Management, Estimating, Bid Development or related field
College Degree is preferred
Sales and marketing experience (preferably in the building products industry)
Experience in a team-based environment
Experience in handling multiple projects/tasks at once
Experience in a position that deals directly with customers (front-line)
