Beacon Building Products is currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to contribute their organizational skills and positive attitude to our Branch in Middletown, NY.


Our branch is busy and growing fast, and we could use an expert hand with the day-to-day administrative tasks. 

Organized, detail oriented, and energetic individuals do well in this roll.

What will my day-to-day look like?

  • Manage multiple calendar and meeting schedules in Outlook. 
  • Fluent in all Microsoft applications. 
  • Organize and administer event planning if/when needed 
  • Ability to draft Executive level correspondence without assistance. 
  • Complete and submit expense reports accurately and timely. 
  • Create, proofread and update Microsoft PPT presentations and Excel spreadsheets. 
  • Manage day-to-day operational and administrative duties (invoices, follow up calls, customers service). 
  • Provide coverage for front desk as necessary. 
  • Schedule meetings both internally and externally. 
  • Other duties as assigned


What are the requirements?

  • Prior experience in a fast pace office environment handling various administrative tasks
  • Solid customer service skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible and able to multi-task. 
  • Reflect the company’s values and demonstrate high ethical standards. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and process orientation. 
  • Strong ability to work in a changing environment, see through complexity. 
  • Demonstrated success in working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture
