Local CDL Driver

Beacon has an immediate opening for a Local CDL truck driver to manually unload and deliver building materials locally to residential and commercial job sites on an assigned route schedule. Each Beacon branch has a different assortment of trucks – it could be manual or automatic and may include additional equipment such as conveyers, cranes, and moffetts. Drivers may have helpers to unload merchandise and are required to ensure safety is always in place.

Essential requirements to be successful in the local driver position: 

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record  
• One year of verifiable driving experience with a CDL A  or CDL B
• Experience operating a manual transmission commercial vehicle 
• Must be 21 years of age or older 

• Touch Freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing 75-100 pounds 
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions 
• Overtime as needed
