eCommerce Rebate Specialist

Job purpose:

We are currently seeking a Manufacturer Rebate Specialist to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for detail-oriented work, an understanding for rebate programs and a knack for data collection and processing, we want to hear from you.

The Manufacturer Rebate Specialist is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing rebate programs offered by manufacturers. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to secure and manage rebate agreements efficiently. You will work closely with the e-Commerce team to ensure we maximize customer loyalty through various manufacturer rebate programs. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Rebate Program Management:

Monitor and manage manufacturer rebate programs and agreements.

Review and understand rebate terms and conditions to ensure compliance.

Collect, verify, and analyze sales and purchasing data to calculate eligible rebates.

Organize and submit rebate data on a regular basis.

Identify opportunities to maximize rebate benefits.

 

Communication:

Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve rebate-related inquiries or discrepancies. Troubleshoot customer inquiries.

Communicate rebate program details to relevant internal teams.

 

Reporting:

Generate regular reports on rebate performance and trends.

Present rebate program data to leadership and e-Commerce teams.

 

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all rebate-related documents, contracts, and correspondence.

 

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline rebate management and increase efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and logical application 
  • Exceptional research skills and ability to learn building material products and terminology 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask  
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment 
  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to master Excel at an advanced level
  • A high energy, positive attitude with the drive and motivation for continual improvement 
  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills  
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
