Beacon is a Fortune 500 company with over 580 locations and over 8,000 employees in all US states and six Canadian provinces.  We are known throughout the building supply industry for having quality people, quality service and quality building products. Beacon Roofing Supply is looking to hire a Web Analyst to support our eCommerce platform, innovation and digital growth.  In this role, you’ll work closely with the e-commerce, digital marketing and IT team to achieve revenue and customer adoption. As the Web Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on important initiatives, such as driving first time and repeat purchasers and identify opportunities to create a best in class user experience. You will turn web and omni-channel data into actionable insights and help achieve our revenue and customer engagement goals.
 

What You Will Be Working On

  • Use web analytics to generate actionable information and effectively communicate recommendations to optimize ecommerce purchase path, marketing campaigns and overall user experience.
  • Contribute to building an analytics strategy and elevate web analytic to achieve a data-driven digital marketing culture
  • Create, implement and audit measurement frameworks (KPIs, tagging plans, reporting, analysis, etc.) align with business objectives and continual recommendations impacting site, content, marketing, and e-commerce
  • Develop and maintain consistent metrics, reporting and monitoring around campaign/channel funnel conversion, ROI, profit performance, planning and forecasting.
  • Translate raw web data into actionable business insights and strategies to optimize performance, funnels, conversion rates and brand management.
  • Design, create and automate weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboards and reports as well as meaningful KPI’s and channel performance reports.
  • Define, optimize and implement an enhanced web analytics platform (such as Google Analytics 360) to support long-term roadmaps to drive better results.
  • Design and implement a quality assurance process across all data sources and analytics tools to verify accuracy.

Additional Skills You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in eCommerce related roles.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager and advanced Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive roadmap for A/B, Multivariate testing and personalization.

Some experience with JavaScript & HTML and data visualization tools like Tableau.
