Job purpose


Partnering with the National Sales team to facilitate the implementation of identifying new and existing rebate agreements for national accounts. This role supports Beacon by developing, compiling, and analyzing data to provide overall company cost-savings as well as drive customer brand loyalty and positive customer experience. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Completes data collection for customer business reviews, rebates, price adjustments, catalogues, and recurring reports for the National Sales team
  • Analyze data to make recommendations for ad hoc reports and audits
  • Execute interdepartmental requests
  • Research, verify, and identify missed rebate file back from manufactures to collect revenue and savings
  • Research, verify, and identify missed rebate opportunities for customers to grow their share of Beacon wallet
  • Partner with National Account leader to coordinate the annual pricing and adjustment reviews for National customers
  • Enter and maintain customer information in internal systems (Salesforce, Mincron, etc)
  • Develop standard operating procedures to accompany templates for national use
  • Communicates with the National sales team and internal departments to establish the customer’s expectations and define success for the relationship
  • Share and train team members on best business practices
  • Document process improvements and ability to write clear instruction/playbooks on standard operating procedures and processes
  • Ability to analyze information from business partners and internal customers to understand issues or root cause, prioritize the problems, and then take appropriate steps for resolution




  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-5 years in related field experience in sales, sales operations, marketing, or project management
  • Experience working in an environment of non-standardized practices with the goal of moving to standardization
  • Experience with data modeling, data mining, and data quality management
  • High aptitude for solving complex problems – critical thinking and root cause analysis
  • Strong planning and organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient knowledge of as a user and/or business owner with the goal of continuous improvement
  • Advanced skills with Personal Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business acumen, financial concepts, and procedures
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage long-term projects


Working conditions


  • Moderate travel requirements as needed for business purposes
  • Working space will be in a quiet open environment seated within a cubical
  • Work assignments may be completed remotely and/or available company offices/branches within respective markets


Physical requirements


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and/or keyboard
  • Heavy methods of verbal and auditory communication via phone, virtual calls, and/or email
