Program Manager Commercial Remote

Job purpose

 

The Commercial Program Manager will support the Commercial Solutions business by identifying and executing change programs, based on existing best practices and new ideas, focused on growing revenue and profits. Growing the Commercial Solutions business is a strategic initiative and crucial to the company’s overall growth plan. This individual will have in-depth consulting and program management experience with an emphasis on finance and operations. This role will report directly to the SVP of Commercial Solutions.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for driving crucial change initiatives to grow revenue and profit for the Commercial Solutions business
  • Conduct projects to identify financial metrics and benchmarks to track the commercial business most efficiently. Identify “What does good look like?” from a financial perspective
  • Collaborate with finance to adapt financial review processes to reflect benchmark values for commercial, especially in mixed commercial/residential branches and P&Ls
  • Work with Operations and regional teams to identify operational best practices and define blueprint for best practice operations and processes for pilots and broader roll-out, e.g., branch layout, service levels, quoting and delivery
  • Work closely with regional commercial and leadership teams to refine and validate hypotheses, craft solutions, implement initiatives and track outcomes
  • Execute and track change initiatives coming from prior consulting work
  • Gather feedback from commercial customers and team members across the company and proactively identify potential growth opportunities

 

Qualifications@

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field, engineering preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in consulting or project management with several projects in finance/KPIs and operations
  • Experience working in a branch or distributor environment, preferred
  • Experience in gathering and interpreting information and/or ability to work with large data sets/analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach
  • Great organizational and time management abilities
  • Advanced collaboration, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proficient skill with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business acumen, financial concepts, and procedures

 

Working conditions

 

  • Moderate travel requirements as needed for business purposes
  • Work assignments may be completed remotely and/or available company offices within respective markets

 

Physical requirements

 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and/or keyboard
  • Heavy methods of verbal and auditory communication via phone, virtual calls, and/or email
