Job purpose

 

The TRI-BUILT Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties pertaining to planning, implementing, and executing core private label strategies on a local, regional and national basis.  This position will work cross-functionally with Private Label Marketing, Sales, E-Commerce, and Operational Leaders as needed on core private label projects. This will require a strong ability to project manage and the capability to complete multiple projects.  The TRI-BUILT Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing – Private Label.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Support and uncover local, regional and national sales opportunities
  • Drive activity with identified TRI-BUILT bottom quartile and opportunity branches
  • Assist in the execution of new product launches driving the branch adoption of new products
  • Attend local, regional and national events supporting the TRI-BUILT brand
  • Support the marketing, sales and operations teams at Beacon through strategic tactics and key projects
  • Examples could include:
    • Develop TRI-BUILT sales materials
    • Play a crucial role with bottom quartile branches
    • Traveling to and supporting branches to grow adoption
    • Actively participate in launching of bottom quartile promotions
    • Assist in promoting strategic national and regional promotions that drive trial and growth of customers; this may include development of creative ideas, management, execution, and after-action analysis
    • Strategic data analysis to find insights and to drive ideas and direction
    • Manage and review TRI-BUILT assets on Blueprint, PRO+, Beacon Exchange and MediaValet
    • Provide insights and assistance to private label brand to drive brand adoption
    • Support branches by managing TRI-BUILT inbox and assisting with technical questions

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or other related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with and utilization of B2B
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to specify, execute, and deliver projects on time
  • Strong ability to solve customer and branch problems in innovative ways
  • Strong business process design skills and through attention to detail
  • Proficient skill with Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

 

Working conditions

 

  • Moderate travel requirements as needed for business purposes
  • Work assignments may be completed remotely and/or available company offices/branches within respective markets

 

Physical requirements

 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and/or keyboard
  • Heavy methods of verbal and auditory communication via phone, virtual calls, and/or email
