Beacon is a Fortune 500 company with over 580 locations in all US states and six Canadian provinces. We are seeking a new team member for our sales team who will work on creating, maintaining and improving customer relationships, while also owning a portfolio and look for new sales opportunities.

What You Will Be Working On:

  • Work alongside a team of other Inside Sales Representatives, collaborating as needed and participating in team trainings to better understand and explain our product offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers in companies within your book of business
  • Prospects for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
  • Serve as the business owner of your portfolio of customers; contact customers over the phone and via email in order to learn their business and better understand their needs
  • Facilitates the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and overall customer service and support.
  • Generates profitable growth thru quota attainment.
  • Effectively communicate Beacon’s value proposition to customers
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to make educated decisions and maximize selling effectiveness

What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role:  

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • 1 to 5 years of customer service or retail sales experience is preferred.
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Show a proven track record of sales generation
  • Must be very customer service oriented
