Branch Manager - Waterproofing

The Branch Manager leads the overall branch operations, to include counter sales and operations, and warehouse operations (i.e., expenses, compliance, safety, security, and workforce) ensuring established policies and processes are followed accurately. This role partners with sales managers and representatives in the field and corporate teams to achieve business goals. The Branch Manager manages the flow of product both in and out to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Oversees aspects of profit center (operations, administration, etc.)
- Achieve financial objectives by driving the performance of financial plans and budgets.
- Determines the nature of profitable versus non-profitable business through precise decision making and trend analysis.
- Deals directly with corporate office on matters that concern day to day branch functions.
- Develops plans for increased branch profitability with the Leadership team.
- Drives business results by continuously monitoring the performance, profitability, and branch plans, provides recognition for desired behaviors and achieving results, and adjusts when needed.
- Manage timekeeping, productivity and staffing in branch against established budget, performance expectations and objectives.
- Influences overall business results by building and maintaining cross-functional partnerships with Human Resources, Safety & Asset Protection, Sales, Credit, Purchasing, etc.
- Actively identifies barriers to performance and uses available cross-functional resources to help diagnose issues and remove barriers.
- Works collaboratively with the District Manager/Regional Operations Manager and Sales Managers to align all goals and strategies for the region.
- Leverages system reports and business data to support decisions that positively impact key branch metrics.
- Actively looks for new ways to improve branch staffing productivity and overall branch efficiencies.

- Creates a climate that supports training and development by identifying employees' training needs, supporting enterprise-wide and branch-level training initiatives, removing obstacles, and providing access to developmental resources.

- Promote the company’s safety programs and enforce safety guidelines
- Ensure that all operational policies and procedures in branch are followed accurately and consistently.
- Continuously assess talent at all levels within the branch and provide specific ongoing coaching, training and feedback. Work with HR regarding employee performance issues.
