The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for implementing the Operational/accounting policies and procedures to ensure the consistent and timely payment to vendors with the appropriate supporting documentation. The Supply Chain Analyst will work with the Beacon Branches, Beacon Vendors, Category Directors and Accounts Payable Specialists to resolve PO variances. Qualified candidates will be well versed in the order to pay process to include two- and three-way matching.   The candidate must also possess excellent critical thinking skills and driven to provide outstanding customer service.

 

 


What You Will Be Working On:

  • Provide branch support and timely research of outstanding AP variances and drive to resolution.
  • Communicate daily with branches and vendors to clear problems that arise and ensure invoices are paid within a timely manner.
  • Tracking vendor issues
  • Train branches on the correct way to address variances
  • Handle other assignments or projects as assigned.

 

What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of the order to pay process
  • Excellent math and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate skill in MS Office (Word and Excel, Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc) and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to handle confidential information, multiple tasks, and prioritize duties.
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude and approach.
