We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Candidates specializing in Residential and Commercial Roofing products for our location in Vaughan, ON.

What will my day-to-day look like?

 

  • Provide quality service to customers using clear communication skills.
  • Be knowledgeable regarding all Company products and services.
  • Count, verify and manually unload incoming orders and shipments.
  • Utilize a forklift for moving inventory
  • Verify and manually load orders on outgoing trucks.
  • Verify and manually load outgoing orders onto customer vehicles.
  • General yard and office maintenance to include cleaning and painting.
  • Maintain neatness and cleanliness of warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

What are the requirements?

 

  • Forklift Certification.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and pass a background check and a drug test

 

What will give me an edge over other applicants?

 

  • 1-year previous warehouse experience.
  • Experience with building products/warehouse
  • Forklift Operator and/or Fall Arrest certification.
