Job purpose


Day-to-day field management of Credit Operations, including process management, collections, and employee development. 


Duties and responsibilities


  • Demonstrated expert in Credit Management for construction related industry
  • Financial Analysis & analytical ability
  • Ability to lead, build & motivate credit team (local and remote)
  • Foster team attitude & unified goals across the organization (sales/ops/credit/other)
  • Excellent communication and presentation ability
  • Balance and plan for both long term & short term objectives
  • Effectively manage the credit process per company policy & procedures
  • Push/pull team for continuous improvement & process improvement
  • Growth oriented (for both top & bottom line goals)
  • Trusted resource to Management Team





Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum 7 years experience in credit and collections, with excellent management skill
  • Previous experience in building materials distribution or construction industry a plus; experience in a multi-location environment also a plus
  • Strong Lien and Bonding experience essential
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office products & AS-400 ERP systems
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic accounting and finance knowledge is required
  • Must pass a background check, including references and credit
  • Extensive travel required.
